We are  ideally situated on the famous Northcoast500 route and are 40mins drive to the ferry for Orkney which you can

take a day trip or longer. The Castle of Mey, the Queen Mother's holiday home is open to visitors and is 40mins drive from Thrumster.

The surrounding area has some lovely woodland walks, and even has an Iron aged Broch in the grounds, some 2 miles away is the Yarrows Archaeological Trail which is one of the largest concentrations of neolithic remains in Europe.
