Thrumster House is a lived in family home that has been welcoming visitors on holidays, sporting and fishing trips for many years. Here you will find a warm highland welcome and a house full of character and atmosphere. We are very pet friendly and have dogs at Thrumster as part of our family.
We have availability of six self-catering cottages, one apartment and Bed and Breakfast for up to six guests. All our accommodation is pet friendly.
We are ideally situated on the famous Northcoast500 route and are 40 minutes drive to the ferry for Orkney which you can take a day trip or longer. The Castle of Mey, the Queen Mother's holiday home, is open to visitors and is 40 minutes drive from Thrumster.
The surrounding area has lovely woodland walks and an Iron Age Broch in the grounds. Two miles away is the Yarrows Archaeological Trail which is one of the largest concentrations of neolithic remains in Europe.
